Default Replacement Bowl Grommet?

I Have lost the grommet for my standard egyptian bowl. Can you guys think of anything i can use as a replacement for the grommet? Im in NZ and its impossible to buy anything singular over here, if you wanna replace a hookah part you have to buy a whole new generic hookah
And to import from h-s costs 30 bucks shipping lmao ._.

Any ideas?

electrical tape

wet paper towels

wadded up tin foil

maybe a cloth which would last longer and paper towel

just keep an eye out for a chunk of rubber and maybe you can make one!?

yeah i would definitely go with some damp, damp because we don't want to cause a fire , paper towels or electrical tape because the rest just leave to much room for error. Tin foil sounds dangerous i would be afraid the bowl would fall after a while.

No offense but it looks like a cheap chinese hookah from here. I found an extra grommet also. I'm going to the post office tomorrow, what is your address?

Most smoke shops in NZ have it, well im in West auckland and in henderson there are 2 places that sell shisha, at 20 bucks for 50 grams though.. so its really pricy =\.

Where in NZ are you?

ive used paper towel before but i have made a makeshift gronmet out of electrical tape. what i did was took strips of tape and folded the over so there was no sticky part i then wrapped them around the top of the stem where the bowl normally sits and cut a few small pieces of tape to hold them in position once i had the size i wanted the gronmet to be i just took the roll and went apeshit and built up enough tape until my bowl fit firmly. best part was i could re use it because it didnt stick to the hookah and also didnt leave any glue remnants on the stem because the sticky side never stuck. sorry if that was confusing its hard to explain how i did it but hopefulle u get the general idea.
