Nak DA. Not only for flavor, but cost. For 250g nak costs me $6 and AF costs me $12.

Depends on my mood and what I've eaten. Sometimes I want a stronger anise (therefore AF), sometimes I just want DA (therefore Nak).

Ahhh the age old fight... As much as I love AF, I favor Nak DA, I like the tobacco undertones of Nak in general.. and less anise flavor.

I really love the anise flavor of AF, but I also love Nakhla....

I havn't had Nak DA in more than a year, and the last batch i had was years old and rank. I have seriously need to get ahold of some soon as I have forgotten the flavor...!!!!

When I smoke AF, I try to mix it really well and just lightly squeeze the juice into the bowl.

Nakhla over AF DA.
Also, Nakhla over AF2 which is the other DA they make, please note that they decided they needed 2 DA's to compete with Nakhla's DA. (Nakhla has a Mizo Apple and a Regular Apple, but not 2 DA's)

Nak's baharaini apple ( kinda rare only in a 250 jar )
AF golden baharaini apple ( af's best apple flavor )
nak apple askandaraini ( great stuff less sweet then AF's and just nice )
Al Waha two apples ( hey what ever this is a great DA better then AF's )
Baharaini apple ( now that this is available agin great great stuff )
Afzal silver fox and golden amber ( there apple flavs with mint and or spices and pretty awsome IMO )
Tangiers kashmir apple ( stuff is really good )

I don't like it when the anise is too strong, so Nak DA is the easy choice for me...even better with a dedicated hose.

I think Nak DA is pretty much perfect, so I have to go with nak, even though I've never had AF DA.

I have had AF Grenedine though and it tastes like dirt (before anyone says I'm packing it wrong, the smoke was harsh from the getgo and the actual shisha in the box has an overwelmingly dirt smell).
