Al Fahker Cherry

Shisha Cut: Fine cut. Lots of stems :[

Hookah Type: 22" Egyptian

Duration: 30 mins

Bowl: Egyptian

Foil / Screen: 2 layers of Reynold's foil

Coal / Amount: 2 pieces of exotica coals

Smoke: medium thickness

Buzz: None at all

Smell / Flavor: smelled like a cherries. It smells somewhat of like a cherry pie. But when you smoke, it doesn't taste like the smell at all. It tastes like nasty cherry cough syrup :X

Rating (1 to 10): 5/10 Okay, I AM a fan of cherries (the fruit) But tasting this flavor in AF form I used to be like "hey this tastes okay" while my friends were getting sick after the first few puffs and they said they felt like throwing up.

After having this flav at a solo session...man it was nasty! I threw out the 250 tub of this stuff. I dunno if it was an old batch (it was kinda juicy) but the prod. date was like july 2006 or something. *sigh* sucks that I threw away something worth $13 down the trash

Golden Al Fahker Golden Eskandarani Apple

Shisha Cut: none dyed whatsoever. Fine cut with lots of stems!

Hookah Type: 22" Egyptian

Duration: 1hour

Bowl: egyptian clay bowl

Foil / Screen: 2 layers of Reynold's  foil

Coal / Amount: 2 pieces of exotica coals

Smoke:THICK!

Buzz: None at all

Smell / Flavor: Smell like green apples...like a green apple jolly rancher.

I dunno why, but when I smoked, it tasted plasticy

My friend bought the same flav from the same batch and he said that he didn't pick up the plastic at all. I thought it was my hookah so I cleaned it. The plastic was still there. I smoked from another clean hookah, the taste was still there

Also, after 2 months of opening the flavor from the package, it burned VERY easily and it didn't make any sense because I had it in a airtight ziplock bag and it was still juicy. i have about 100Gms left.

Rating (1 to 10): 10/10 if it didn't have the plastic taste. But since it did 6/10 because it just made it unbearable to smoke.

I had some bowls when there was no plastic taste present (i dunno how though!) and all there was...was awesome green apples!

*sigh* maybe I'll buy a completely different tub and see if it'll taste better. I've heard other people say there was no plastic present, maybe it just had to only be my tub that got the plastic. I really like the flav but its just the plastic.

I had to throw out the remaining baccy b/c it just wasn't good anymore

Duration: 1hr+

Bowl: Mod/Saudi Bowl

Foil / Screen: One layer Hookah foil

Coal / Amount: One 40mm 3k broken into thirds

I totally recommend this to every hookah smoker out there! I've been buying this stuff for a few months now and I almost always keep it on hand now. So far I haven't had one bowl of AF that I didn't enjoy.

Brand and Flavor: Al Fahker Grape

Shisha Cut: Medium cut, very wet

Hookah Type: Nargliem 19"

Duration: 45 mins

Bowl: standard

Foil / Screen: 2 layers of foil

Coal / Amount: Exotica split into 3rds

Smoke: med- thick

Buzz: very light

Smell / Flavor: The smell was awesome very strong of grape. The taste was great as well. It wasn't really what I expected at first but once you get a few hits its like heaven. I would recommend this to anyone if they want a good grape flavor.

Al Fahker Watermelon

Shisha Cut: light-medium cut wet couple of stems here and there.

Hookah Type: 32" SS Syrian

Duration: 1hr-2hr

Bowl: Egyptian Clay

Foil / Screen: Reynolds foil

Coal / Amount: 1/2 stick exoticas

Smoke: med-thick white clouds

Buzz: faint

Smell / Flavor: it smells like a watermelon but not too strong of a watermelon. The taste is just the same. Very subtle but delicious watermelon taste.

Rating (1 to 10) 10 I love this flavor, it is probably my new "daily smoker" I recommend it to anyone who enjoys AF or Watermelon.

Brand and Flavor: Al Fakher Mint

Shisha Cut: typical al fakher/al waha look. really juicy.

Hookah Type: 32" stargate

Duration: 30 minutes

Bowl: a medium funnel.

Foil / Screen: foil

Coal / Amount: 3 exoticas cut into reasonable sizes. placed in a triangle shape.

Smoke: wouldve been thick like all AF is but i just couldnt take a good hit off it, REALLY strong stuff!

Buzz: no buzz. didnt spend enough time smoking it.

Smell / Flavor: it was really powerful the whole way through. first time i actually had to set the pipe down while i play mario. i thought it would be cooling and refershing but it was almost like smoking that one cleaning agent, that powder stuff you pour in the stink and in the tub. the smell was of course fine and no where near as strong as the taste.

Rating (1 to 10): 5... as a mixer this works well. but alone, woo... strong!

Al Fakher Vanilla (New)

Setup: Mya Odyssey 23", Small Phunnel + Mod, 3 Coco-Nara

Shisha Cut: Normal Medium cut, scattered stems, Red glycerine

Smell: Vanilla Tootsie Rolls, Farr's Vanilla Ice Cream

Taste: Mild taste, but noticeable. Like a Vanilla Tootsie roll.

Duration: 1.5 hours (coals were lit the whole time, only needed to add one more)

Smoke Quality: Excellent, clouds.

Buzz: Maybe, but i was drinking Coconut Rum

Over-all: 8/10. I was wishing the flavor would be stronger, it smelled very strong. AF is very easy to pack as well. Easy to burn the tobacco, but it gives alot of leeway. It is almost the same as AW Vanilla, only juicier and the flavor lasts the whole session. I will be smoking this again. May be a great mixer like AW Vanilla.

Al Fakher Plum

Shisha Cut: Fine to medium, red and juicy not many stems.

Hookah Type: 22" Egyptian

Duration: 45 minutes

Bowl: Egyptian clay

Foil / Screen: 1 layer of reynolds HD Foil

Coal / Amount: 1/4 stick of Exotica

Smoke: Nice amount of smoke.

Buzz: AF doesn't give me a buzz

Smell / Flavor: Smelled like a fresh plum. It tasted like some sort of chemical with sweetness.

Rating (1 to 10): 5 It smelled really good but tasted weird. Production date is June 2007. Maybe it's a bad batch. I'll try it again after acclimating it longer. If the taste doesn't change I'll be disappointed. I heard good things about this flavor and so far it doesn't live up to the rave reviews.

Al Fakher Watermelon

Shisha Cut: Fine to medium, red and juicy not many stems.

Hookah Type: 22" Egyptian

Duration: 1 hour

Bowl: Egyptian clay

Foil / Screen: 1 layer of reynolds HD Foil

Coal / Amount: 1/4 stick of Exotica, used a wind cover

Smoke: Medium to heavy smoke. I made some nice rings with it.

Buzz: AF doesn't give me a buzz

Smell / Flavor: Inside the box it smelled great, like a sweet watermelon candy. When I opened it there was a whole different smell. Had a sweet chemical smell to it. I acclimated it overnight and it went away and smelled like watermeoln candy again. Tasted somewhere in between natural and candy-like watermelon.

Rating (1 to 10): 9 I dinged it for the nasty smell after opening. It did go away after acclimating. This was a thoroughly enjoyable smoke. Flavor lasted the whole session, never got harsh and produced plenty of smoke. I have smoked Cleopatra, Fantasia, Hookah Hookah, King, Layalina, and Smiley's. While I still liked Smiley's the best overall, it's nearly impossible to find or too expensive. AF Watermelon is easily the best readily available, reasonably priced watermelon shisha. Get some, it's great!

Al Fahker Mint

Shisha Cut: Medium Cut, Kinda dry...Added some glycerin but that didn't really help

Hookah Type: 12" Mya Nou Nou

Duration: 10mins

Bowl: small phunnel bowl

Foil / Screen: One layer of foil

Coal / Amount: 2 pieces of exotica coal

Smoke: thin as heck! :\

Buzz: none

Smell / Flavor: Smells like awesome mintos and it tastes like it too! I was expecting a nasty cough syrup menthol taste (like the cigs) but not at all.

Bad thing was is that my 50 gram pack is going to expire next month and that explains the reason for the dryness and thin smoke

Rating (1 to 10) 8/10 IF it wasn't old and it had lot of smoke! It is a very enjoyable flavor

But since it didn't 5/10

I will update this review once I get an accurate and good sample of this stuff. Taste was amazing and I look forward to it.
__________________

EDIT: Woo hoo! Got my hands on a good sample of this stuff! gotta say, it is a very nice mint and its a lil sweet but minty and it gives off a lot of clouds. It can really soothe your throat when your sick if you smoke this Mint.

9/10. Not one of my all time favs, but def. a fav. I'm getting a tub of this when I get the chance!

Smell / Flavor:this stuff smelled exactly like vanilla cake mix.very strong!
Rating (1 to 10):8/10 luckily, the taste was not as strong as the smell.
sweet, creamy flavor, more like a confectionary vanilla than a natural. not bad! although, this may or may not be the mixer we were waiting for.

Duration: 1.2 hours

Bowl: Small Phunnel

Foil / Screen: Reynold's HD

Coal / Amount: 3 CcN's

Smoke: Medium-thick (not as thick as I would have wanted)

Brand and Flavor: AF Cola

Shisha Cut: medium cut. Very juicy and dyed red

Hookah Type: MYA nou nou

Duration: 45 mins

Bowl: standard egyptian clay bowl

Foil / Screen: 2 layers of foil

Coal / Amount: 3 pieces of exotica coal

Smoke: thick

Buzz: none

Smell / Flavor: smells EXACTLY like coca cola. Doesn't smell anything like pepsi like AW's does. Taste. EXACT same thing

Rating (1 to 10): 6/10

I had a VERY small amount of flat DR. Pepper in the base, which was dilluted with water and ice. I dunno why, but it leaves this weird, gassy0like and spicy feeling in my throat which is very uncomfortable. I stopped taking hits after it made me choke and gag pleh! This flavor would have had potential if that weird feeling in my throat that the cola left didn't exist
__________________

EDIT: Retried again with my hookah cleaned and only h2o in the base. The prob is still there! That gassy/spicy feeling in my throat when smoking this cola is still there How weird. Def. is not my favs at all

Brand and Flavor: AF Watermelon

Shisha Cut: Semi fine cut. Not really juicy like the other af flavs

Hookah Type: MYA Nou Nou

Duration: Over an hour and still going

Bowl: Standard egyptian clay bowl

Foil / Screen: 2 layers of foil

Coal / Amount: 2 pieces of an exotica coal

Smoke: thick

Buzz: a lil one (which is surprising cuz I haven't had one in ages) then it went away

Smell / Flavor: smells like a watermelon jolly rancher (but not as sweet, but mellow). Taste: Exactly like it. Very mellow and not overly sweet, which is good. I can pick up a sweetish creamy taste and a bit of anise (just a tad, but it could just be me). But, you can't really tell

Rating (1 to 10):7/10 An alright flav. Not exactly one of my favs, it could probably be a flav that should be smoked once and a while I guess.

Hookah Type: Mya Vortex(2 hose)

Duration: 1-1.5 hrs

Bowl: clay egyptian

Foil / Screen: 2 layers

Coal / Amount: 1.5 3k's QL

Smoke: Pretty thick, nice and full

Buzz: Very little, I don't buzz too easily

Smell / Flavor: Maybe because I just smoked strawberry right before this I couldn't taste the peach too well. I could tell it was there, but it wasn't too strong. Could be a good thing? Depends on preference I guess. Smell was around the same strength as taste.

Rating (1 to 10): I'll give it an 8/10 because it wasn't too strong. Maybe it was just my batch but i'd definitely try it again.

Duration: 5 mins

Bowl: Saudi

Foil / Screen: 2 layers, cheap stuff

Coal / Amount: 2 pieces of exotica coals

Smoke: none

Buzz: None

Smell / Flavor: Smelt really good. Just like bananas. The taste was horrible though. I didn't get much resemblance of bananas at all. I thought it was the coal because it was my first time using my AF lump coal, but I put some exotica on there and it was still really bad.

Rating (1 to 10): 1, There isn't anything good in this flavor. I was hoping it would be good since it smelt so damn good. I was dissapointed

Smell / Flavor: The was kinda funny. Not the kind of strawberries I'm used to smelling. The taste was bad on this flavor. It had a really bad after taste at the end of each puff that just made you want to puke.

Rating (1 to 10): 2, Another disappointed AF flavor. I gave it a 2 because it had a little strawberry taste when you inhale

Smell / Flavor: The smell is awesome on this flavor. I was able to smell the watermelon before I even took the plastic off the box. It reminds me a lot of a jolly rancher. The taste is the same. It's very nice, and smooth smoke.

Rating (1 to 10): 8. It was a great smoke. I felt a little sick after I was done smoking it but my friend didn't have any problems at all. I recommend this flavor if your looking for something new.
