Brand and Flavor: Al Fakher Mint

Shisha Cut: Somewhat large, I'm new to Al Fakher though, so I don't know what the 'typical' cut is. I noticed that there were clumps that the dye had not soaked through to.

Hookah Type: MYA Acrylic

Duration: Dunno yet

Bowl: Smiley tulip bowl

Foil / Screen: Glass screen

Coal / Amount: 1/2 stick of jap coals

Smoke: Very thick

Buzz: Nice, not overpowering but pleasant

Smell / Flavor: The shisha smells exactly like Ricola, I'm surprised no one has noticed... The flavor is light and refreshing.

Rating (1 to 10): 9.5

Default Al Fahker Orange

Brand and Flavor: Al Fakher Orange

Shisha Cut: med, light stems. Med brown. Very drippy.

Hookah Type: 22" Eypgtian

Duration: 55 mins

Bowl: glass

Foil / Screen: foil

Coal / Amount: (2) 1-1.5 inch pieces of Dy Natural Fingers

Smoke: med to thick

Buzz: mild

Smell / Flavor: Smell was a fresh sqeezed orange. Nice and tart, citruisy. Taste was light orange, true orange, not sweet or candy-ish.

Video Link: "coming soon"

Rating (1 to 10): 7

A decent Orange, very "true" smelling and tasting, but rather light on the taste. It was there, but not nearly as strong as I would have hoped. Still, overall a very nice smoke. Maybe with some OJ in base it will enhance the taste.

Brand and Flavor: Al Fakher Grape

Shisha Cut: Medium cut, wet

Hookah Type: J&R Syrian, 30"

Duration: 1 Hour

Bowl: small phunnel

Foil / Screen: Aluminum Foil

Coal / Amount: 2 Akhla QLs

Smoke: Medium/Heavy Clouds

Buzz: very slight buzz

Smell / Flavor: Out of the box, it smelled... odd. Definitely grape, but a little TOO strong? When lit, the taste was perfect. Candy grape, wonderful.

Brand and Flavor: Al Fakher - Cappuccino

Shisha Cut: Medium cut, moist not drippy wet

Hookah Type: Khalil Mamoon Amer

Duration: 1 hr

Bowl: Saudi Bowl

Foil / Screen: Foil

Coal / Amount: 2 - 1.5" pieces Diamantes

Smoke: Medium Thick

Buzz: Gave me a little buzz

Smell / Flavor: Smell by itself, like instant coffee, smoke flavor was like burnt coffee, and smoke smell, like burnt popcorn mixed with burnt coffee.

Rating (1 to 10): 5, I could tolerate it, but there are a couple other coffee flavors out there that I like better.

Brand and Flavor: Al Fakher Two Apple

Shisha Cut: Fine cut, no stems that I noticed, dyed red, moist but not overly wet

Hookah Type: MYA Bambino

Duration: 15 minutes

Bowl: Tangiers Small Funnel

Foil / Screen: Single HD circular foil

Coal / Amount: 2 large pieces of Smiley's Cocoshell

Smoke: Thick, voluminous clouds

Buzz: None for me

Smell / Flavor: Smells exactly like licorice with a faint apple undertone. You have to really smell it to pick up the apple tones.

Rating (1 to 10): 1. I thought I ordered Two Apple not Anise Seed. I won't be ordering this again so luckily I only got a 50g package.

Hookah Type: J&R 30" Syrian

Duration: 50 minutes

Bowl: Small Funnel

Foil / Screen: foil

Coal / Amount: 1/2 stick of exotica

Buzz: None

Smell / Flavor: I picked this up knowing it was a strong anise taste/smell, was just what I was looking for. Can't really tell there's any apple in it.

Rating (1 to 10): 9/10 I gave it this, only because it supplied what i wanted, which was an anise taste. If I was looking for apple, it'd get a 1/10.

Hookah Type: 22" Egyptian

Duration: 2 Hours

Bowl: Deep Clay Egyptian

Foil / Screen: Aluminum Foil

Coal / Amount: (2) 2" Dynimight Coals, heated then broken in half - with windcover on/off

Smoke: med to thick

Buzz: mild

Smell / Flavor: Smelled like a cross bwt Grape Jelly and Grape Bubble Yum. Taste: basicly the same. Very sweet, tastie and mellow. Not a realistic grape, but very good never the less.

Video Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pePSzNH3wWw

Rating (1 to 10): 9.5

I've had a few bad Grape smokes, but this was the first time smoking AF Grape, and I'm sad I waited so long. A great taste, wonderful long smoke, forgiving with the heat and an excellant staple! Another great flavor from Al Fakher.

Coal / Amount:3 kings QL 2, 1/2 pieces

Buzz:n/a

Smell / Flavor:this smelled really strong. almost turned me off.but I was pleasantly suprised. The taste wasn't overpowering and candyish but actually pleasant and very realistic, but strong none the less.

Rating (1 to 10):while the strength of the flavor would probably keep me from smoking this on a daily basis, the quality of the flavor will probably keep me coming back from time to time. I give this an 8h

Brand and Flavor:al fakher honey

Shisha Cut:med cut moist

Hookah Type:16" egyptian

Duration:about an hour

Bowl:shallow ceramic

Foil / Screen:hd reynolds

Coal / Amount:abu abdo nats.

Smoke:nice thick

Buzz:n/a

Smell / Flavor:this smelled just like honey and also tasted like honey but without the rich sweetness that I had expected. the first time I tried it it was really moist (this is a new flavor so you could get a batch more than 2 months old if you wanted to) and the flavor was a bit strong, but after a week in the fridge it was abit milder and actually quite pleasant.

Rating (1 to 10):8 after acclimation, this was a nice mild smoke. A nice change of pace.

Coal / Amount: Using easy light to start and to start up Japs, then use Japs broken into little pieces around the edge.

Smell / Flavor: Great taste of apple with no anise flavor, the taste is mild but very good.

With flavor and buzz that won't kick your butt, and really thick smoke, this is my goto smoke. Great to smoke in groups where there might be beginners, and a crowd fav.

Al fakher arc sous (liquorice)

I had this tub sitting  there 4 3 months plus but hesiitated to smoke it cz of it smell. I seemed to "strong" and i dont like liquorice very much, so i hessitated to try it. Am running out of shisha (place new order  ) and  said what the heck ill give it a try.

30" Egyptian with cobra hose and regular bowl.
coal : 1 40mm belgiancharcoal

Cut: fine cut leaves but not the usual AF red color.
Smell : too bad to describe
taste : light liquorice flavour , very pleasant sweet aftertaste. But not the flavour the will keep you sucking the hose but still nice
duration: 45mins-1hour
density : not the thickest but i have the coal on one side. i dont rally care for clouding.
buzz: small to none, unlike most liquorice shisha that kicks your ass and makes your head spin.

overall : i give this 6-7 out of 10, good quality tobacco but liquorice is not really my favourite. (i compare all shisha to AF grape which is my favourite)

I reccomend this to anyone who likes liquorice

Brand and Flavor: Al Fakher Fruit Mix (cocktail)

Shisha Cut: I'd say medium cut. Definetly a few large stems here and there, but overall it's not bad.

Hookah Type: 30 inch Mya Blue Column.

Duration: 1 hour

Bowl: Small Tangiers phunnel bowl with scalli glass mod

Base: Water

Foil / Screen: Reynolds heavy duty aluminum foil. Poked two large rings of holes around the bowl.

Coal / Amount: Two Golden Coals (30mm)

Smoke: Smoke thickness was a bit dissapointing. Not nearly as thick as Starbuzz or Al-Amir. I'd say it was small to medium thickness. It was too weak for me (what can I say, I'm a smoke whore!)

Buzz: No buzz

Smell / Flavor: I'm giving this brand and flavor a 4 out of 10. This brand is WAY too overhyped for what it actually is. It didn't taste like a fruit mix, it didn't provide thick white clouds, and it didn't taste all that great either. I could tolerate it, but I'd rather smoke Starbuzz or Al-Amir any day (in that order). Al-Amir's fruit mix is much more accurate on taste. Starbuzz' flavors are much more pronounced. This Al Fakher was too weak, the taste was barely there. I thought this brand was supposed to be a good match to Starbuzz, but man was I misled! Another thing I didn't like, is that it was too sensitive to heat. Two regular 30mm golden coals and a windcover was causing it to overheat right at the start of the session. This has never happened to me smoking Starbuzz or Al-Amir (and Starbuzz is "supposedly" the sensitive shisha according to some people). And I used the same set up and methods for this session as I do with Starbuzz. I've always felt that Starbuzz is the best option out there, and this bad session just proved it even more. This brand is EXTREMELY overhyped. I'll continue to stick to Starbuzz...

( I also have a sample pack of pinneaple. I'm hesitant to try it, because I hate setting up and wasting coals for what I know is going to be a shitty session. If I do decide to try it, then I'll post a review on it as well. But for now I won't waste my time.)

AF Grape

Shisha Cut: fine, juicy and stems o' plenty

Hookah Type: 22" Egyptian

Duration: 45 minutes

Bowl: Egyptian clay

Foil / Screen: 1 layer of reynolds HD Foil

Coal / Amount: 1/4 stick of Exotica

Smoke: Nice amount of smoke.

Buzz: None it's washed

Smell / Flavor: Smelled bad. More like a cheap wine than grapes. Not as bad as it smelled but still not good

Rating (1 to 10): 4 It smelled bad and didn't taste that good either. It was stemmy and soupy. AA White grape is 100 X better than this. I won't bother with it again.

Brand and Flavor: AF Grape!

Shisha Cut: regular AF cut. A little dry (I added glycerin a week after my first few bowls)

Hookah Type: Egyptian

Duration: 45 mins

Bowl: Egyptian clay bowl

Foil / Screen: Reynolds

Coal / Amount: Exoticas cut into 4 pieces. I only used 3

Smoke: VERY thick! (After I added glycerin to restore it. It burned very easily since it was dry so that's why I used it)

Buzz: A relaxing buzz

Smell / Flavor: Smelled like sweet White Grape juice. Tasted exactly the same!

Rating (1 to 10): 10/10 The flavor has a great mix of sour/sweet grapes! This is absolutely my fav flav. I used to hate it, but when I learned a proper setup and used glycerin...It was amazing

Brand and Flavor: AF Strawberry

Shisha Cut: regular AF cut. Very moist and it is dyed dark red

Hookah Type: Chinese

Duration: 45 mins

Bowl: Mod Bowl

Foil / Screen: Reynolds

Coal / Amount: 2 Starlight coals

Smoke: VERY thick! I was smoking out of an apple at the time and it was very smooth and enjoyable

Buzz: A relaxing buzz

Smell / Flavor: Smelled like strawberry jam and there was this sort of cream smell. Flavor, exactly how it tasted. But, there seemed to be this sort of weird plastic taste that is hard to explain. Maybe its the creamy aspect that influences that taste some how

Rating (1 to 10): 7/10. AN alright flav. Just the weird plastic taste killed it

Brand and Flavor: Al Fahker Golden Eskandarani Apple

Shisha Cut: Very drippy fine to medium cut

Hookah Type: 19 inch egyptian

Duration: 2 hours then I stopped but could've gone longer

Bowl: egyptian clay (I would recommend a phunnel b/c when I went to clean it, a lot of molasses came out the bottom. Like I said, very very drippy. mmm

Foil / Screen: 1 layer aluminum foil

Coal / Amount: 2 starlight instant coals

Smoke: thick

Buzz: mild to none

Smell / Flavor: Heavenly. It smelled like a tart apple which is just what I was expecting. It tasted just the same. A light smoke but it was just what I would have liked. No anise flavor YAY It's like an apple, well, it's about time!

Rating (1 to 10): 10 no doubt. This will definitely be a staple and one I couldn't live without. It's a nice mellow fruity apple. A tub will always be in my hookah stash. I highly recommend this to anyone, especially to people who have been let down by anise and are really looking for an apple flavor.

Hookah Type: 22" Egyptian

Coal / Amount: 3/4 stick of Exotica Square Finger Coals

Smoke: Very thick, hide the stem, Autumn fog smoke.

Buzz: Very little

Smell / Flavor: It smelled like real apple. Granny Smith green apple scent to be exact. Tasted like it smelled.

Rating (1 to 10): 9 I really liked the sweet cinnamon taste. Wasn't overpowering or "hot" like HH Cinnamon. One of the best non- fruit shisha flavors I've tried. I got a 50g of this, but I'll get a 250 g for sure! Very nice!
