Default Help me get started vaping?

I have no idea what I'm doing or where to start. I want to get as cheap of a setup as possible while still good, and also want to know what the cheapest worthwhile juice is.

I'm pretty much a noob at it too, so can't give much advice I personally went for a cheap setup to start with, but realised after a few days i wanted something better. I went for a Vision Crystal ego mini kit (UK price about £22. Comes as a complete setup..Battery, clearomizer tank, 3 atomizer heads, 2 drip tips (Mouthpieces). TBH it works very well. After 4 days I learned about 'dripping' and quickly realised the clearomizer tank and atomizers I was using couldn't do this, so bought a re-buildable atomizer. I know i'm waffling, but if you're like me you'll soon realize that one of the VV / VW (variable voltage / variable wattage) mods are the way to go. I'm still waiting on a Vamo to arrive off the slow boat from China lol. I gave Suz some advice the other day, go onto a vaping forum (there are loads about) and read up, it's pretty difficult to get your head around to start with. Look on youtube at a guy called Pbusardo, he does some pretty good reviews of equipment. Regarding flavours, Not sure whats available across the pond brand wise, so I hope some of the other vapours from over there will advise on this. IMHO go for the best you can afford, I'd certainly say one of the many VV / VW mods....

Dave offered a lot of good advice. I would highly recommend getting onto e-cigarette-forum dot com for a ton of info. Last month, I decided to get into vaping for those days when I was super lazy to set up the hookah. I bought a Innokin MVP. So far from my experiences, when chain vaping, I get the best results from using a cartomizer tank. The clearomizers dont seem to wick the juice to the coil fast enough. Anyways, you will learn all the terminology as you read. Like you, I was brand new not too long ago. I decided to skip the beginner ego style sets and went straight to a "mod" (basically the name for a battery that has the ability to change voltage and wattage). This function is simular to the heat management of smoking hookah. I figured that I would most likely enjoy vaping and want something a little bit more robust in the long run, so i jumped right into the better stuff. If you just want to try vaping and dont see yourself using it that much, then buy a complete ego kit (note that eGo is a style of threading and is not a brand name. You'll figure it out.). Good luck, and let me know if you need to know anything. I will try my best to help.

I second the variable voltage idea, my first wasnt, and it was great, but now that I have a VV, I would never go back.

Bigger the battery, longer the smoke. If you arent at a desk all day with access to power, go big. I have a 2600mAh battery and it goes a couple days between charges.

I'm digging it so far. I'll probably mod it in a few weeks. I want to try out other liquid though, any options? I really like the 24mg.

vaporbomb.com has a few amazing ones, mountain mist is just like smoking mountain dew, the churro is amazing and if you are into cinnamon get the cinnabombX2, mix it into the churro. Amazing smoke.

Does thug juice taste like smarties or bottle cap candy? A friend had thug juice, and it was amazingly good.

If I had to compare it to either or, I would pick more like bottle cap candy. It didn't have the chalky aspects of smarties. I love the menthol in it with the sweet fruits.

No problem, but you must try hawk sauce. It's in my top 3 juices.

What does hawk sauce taste like?

I may not be good at this vaping thing... I've already misplaced one carto/battery/cartridge setup. Good thing I had two of everything :/

It was out of stock on the website when I ordered :/ So I bought 24 mg/L, 50/50 blend of each of:
Bourbon
Cherry Limeade
Salacious Strawberry
White Out

I also just ordered from e-cigarette-usa:
A third atomizer
A 510 Mega Manual Battery (280mAh)
Blank cartridges

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Three questions:
1) What is everyone's go-to vaping online shop? Or multiple if you must.
2) I'm still confused on the 510 vs. ego vs. mod thing. Can I get a vv/vw battery for my 510?
3) What's the difference between an atomizer and a cartomizer and which do you prefer?

A lot of people think that vaping starts when you get your first kit. The truth is, it starts when you find the e-liquid flavor that is suitable for you.
