Brand and Flavor: Al Ajamy Coconut

Shisha Cut: Small cut, not as small as Al Amir, but no "ribbons"

Hookah Type: 28" Syrian

Duration: 1 hr

Bowl: Small Syrian

Foil / Screen: Foil

Coal / Amount: 3 Kings 33mm. No more than 3/4 of a coal at a time

Smoke: Thick

Buzz: Very low

Smell / Flavor: Smell is wonderful, but the taste is very weak

Rating (1 to 10): 5

Additional notes: This shisha takes off fast, but seems to have longevity problem, at least with the setup Im using. The session was rather short lived. I smoked for an hour.... but the last 10 minutes were not worth it. Began to get considerably harsh. The actual lack of flavor was surprising as the smell of it was great. Had a slight metallic taste to it.

Default Al Ajamy Esk Apple

Brand and Flavor: Al Ajamy Esk Apple

Shisha Cut: med to fine, some stems, light brown in color, drippy

Hookah Type: 22" Egyptian

Duration: 1hr 15min

Bowl: standard Egyptian clay

Foil / Screen: foil

Coal / Amount: 2" exotica

Smoke: thick

Buzz: mild

Smell / Flavor: Smell was that of a Sweet Apple crossed with Rose. Taste was pretty good, faint undertone of rose (non-soapy) with strong sweet apple taste. No ansie flavoring.

Rating (1 to 10): 8

With 3 people hitting this, it still lasted over a hour and NEVER got burnt! Great taste, considering I was worried about the smell - I picked up a Rose, with apple undertone. They (other 2 smokers) smelt apple w/ rose undertone.

I'm pleasantly surprised with this flavor, not quite as good as Al Fakher Esk Apple, but very close. The only downside I see to regularly purchasing this brand/flavor - it's the same price as Al Fakher, which is more commonly found. But, since this flavor in this brand was decent, I may be willing to purchase other flavors for experiementing.

Default Al Ajamy Cherry

Al Ajamy Cherry

Shisha Cut: med, good amount of stems, dark red in color and drippy.
Hookah Type: MYA QT
Duration: 25min
Bowl: MYA
Foil / Screen: foil
Coal / Amount: 1.5 Stargate + windcover
Smoke: med to thick
Buzz: mild
Smell / Flavor: Smell was a sweet fruity something, but not Cherry. Taste = NOTHING!
Video Link: (coming soon)
Rating (1 to 10): 2

This was my second try at Al Ajamy. This flavor had a sweet fruit smell, but not a definite cherry smell. Similar to mixed fruit flavors. The taste was the biggest letdown there was NONE! It produces nice smoke, had a mild buzz, but NO TASTE?!? By itself its basically worthless, but I can see a use for this as a mixer in other brands.

Brand and Flavor: Al Ajamy - Mixed Fruit

Shisha Cut: Very very wet and fine cut. No stems what so ever.

Hookah Type: Not sure of the size but its my gold tapped km with razan hose. think the hookah is about 29-30"

Duration: I've never been good with heat management but it lasted for about 1h.

Bowl: I've been smoking this with my Tangiers medium phunnel + mod.

Foil / Screen: Double folded. Holes just under coals and then a few air holes spread around.

Coal / Amount: 3 ch natural coals.

Smoke: Nice density.

Buzz: Mild buzz. Its there, but nothing to much if you know what I mean.

Smell / Flavor: Its smells fucking amazing! , I'm a bit dissapointed tho. It tasted a bit too much. like if you smoke pure rose, its too much (some of you must know what I mean)

Rating (1 to 10): 7/10 - minus for the taste, but otherwise this is one of the better shishas I've tryed. not that I have tryed very many but still.

rand and Flavor: Al Ajamy Strawberry

Shisha Cut: Very very wet and fine cut.

Hookah Type: MYA Bambino

Duration: an hour

Bowl: Vortex

Foil / Screen: Reynolds HD one layer. three rings of holes.

Coal / Amount: 2 three kings QL's and a wind cover the whole time also indoors.

Smoke: huge, bigger than al fakher or equal at least but not long lasting, they vanish within micro seconds, where as AF doesnt. BTW im only comparing AF because it is one of the only other tobaccos ive had as wet as this one.

Buzz: None

Smell / Flavor:
Lol it smell like chewable vitamins strawberry flavored. Like absolutely without a doubt exactly like this. However, the taste doesn't make you think vitamin as much as the smell, its mild but sweet and there is an artificial strawberry aftertaste that sticks in the mouth for a couple of seconds

Rating (1 to 10): 7/10 - definitely one to smoke if youre low on cash and want something that has no buzz, big clouds and sweetness and doesnt taste like crap. Im on the same lines of thought of photolinger if you watch his vids on youtube on this brand. The only reason i wrote this up was to say that you can get huge ass clouds from this brand without burning the tobacco with a set-up like mine and therefore that brings this flave up from the 5/10 photolinger gave it to the 7/10 i gave it. idk if its the vortex or the 2 ql's plus windcover but it is possible.

Brand and Flavor: Al Ajamy Gum Flavor

Shisha Cut: Fine cut and wet

Hookah Type: AF Syrian

Duration: A little over an hour

Bowl: Tangiers Phunnel

Foil / Screen: Double layer thin foil

Coal / Amount: 3 CH coils 2 natural 1quicklite (experimenting)

Smoke: Thick, dense

Buzz: slight

Smell / Flavor: Smells like a strong spearmint gum, the coated kind. The flavor was very much like mint gum, sweet and minty with that "chalky texture"(not too much spearmint like it smelled)

Rating (1 to 10): 9 for flavor and because the hint of smooth and chalky texture similar to the candy coating of gum amused me. ( I am easily amused.) Unlike gum, the mint flavor got stronger but never too strong. It was minty fresh like a breath freshener and a pleasant surprise. I wish I had tried this earlier in the day because it was refreshing.

Smell / Flavor: smelt like semi-old oranges/ pretty much no flavor

Brand and Flavor:Al Ajamy Apple

Shisha Cut: wet, red, medium-fine cut

Hookah Type: 32" KM trimetal

Duration: 1 hr

Bowl: alien mini phunnel

Foil / Screen: HD

Coal / Amount: 3 natural coals

Smoke: thick, dense, large

Buzz: medium

Smell / Flavor: smelled sort of like a dark fruit of some sort, i thought i smelt anise which i was not happy about. packed it up, smoked it, no anise at all, tasted very much like a red apple, hints of some dark flavor i can't place. left the mouth tasting like a red apple, but not as "bright" as a real apple.

Rating (1 to 10): 8/10 i would have given it a 9 but i guess apple just isn't a flavor i'm crazy about. it's definitely good, i have no problem with it. the smoke was huge, dense, it took heat very well, never went harsh on me once and i had the coals directly on the foil. it's got that dark sweet flavor which tastes like a red apple, but i'm not sure i'd buy it again when there are so many other "WOW" flavors out there that i really look forward to smoking. if you're looking for a great apple smoke with no anise, this is definitely something to try out.

Brand and Flavor: Al Ajamy Two Apples

Shisha Cut: Very wet and red, similar to AF

Hookah Type: 30" Egyptian

Duration: 90mins

Bowl: SS Vortex

Foil / Screen: HD Foil

Coal / Amount: 3 Coconaras

Smoke: Pretty thick

Buzz: Fairly strong, similar to Nak I'd say

Smell / Flavor: Hardly any smell at all besides a slightly sweet molasses smell. Taste didn't remind me of apples at all, it was faint and sweet and tasted more like candied cherries. I would rename this flavor sweet cherry.

Rating (1 to 10): 6/10 It was a pleasent smoke but certainly nothing to write home about. The flavor was mostly sugary. I did not notice any anise or liqourice flavors at all in this though, really just molasses and cherries.

Brand and Flavor: Al Ajamy Apple mixed with Mint

Shisha Cut: very wet, maroon, small leafs, fine cut

Hookah Type: 24" MYA Thunder & Art Hookah Spiral

Duration: 45 minutes to 1 hour

Bowl: Phunnel, Vortex, Deep Bowl, etc

Foil / Screen: HD, two layers

Coal / Amount: 3 natural coconut coals

Smoke: average clouds; slightly darker

Buzz: medium

Smell / Flavor:
It smelled a bit strong which was not my favorite thing about AL AJMY tobacco.
The flavor is not bad but will fade away as time pass by after you open the package.
It has expired but I continued to smoke it, it was still good for a smoke.

Rating (1 to 10):
6/10: I smoked it for a year or so between 2014-2015 but found it to be a bit strong in smell which sometimes turn me off smoking (that is its weakness).
It taste a bit strong in terms of tobacco taste, flavor is mild compared to tobacco.
Tobacco cut is fine and juicy and it does not burn quickly and can handle heat very well (that's its strength) but needs a lot of attention while packing.
It needs an over pack, fluffy, semi dense pack, with 2-3 coconut coals slightly on the edge to taste good. I find it to smoke better when I use a vortex bowl compare to phunnel.
I do not see myself buying it again, maybe if I was looking for a cheap brand, it was relatively cheaper than other tobacco brands. It is a good smoking experience for the money value definitely but not for the luxurious, enjoyable sessions that I would personally seek if I would smoke tobacco.

Something to try out if you are not good at heat management and looking for cheap tasteless tobacco! Ideal choice for beginners!

I'm surprised you haven't stumbled upon this packing method yet...

Now I cannot smoke any brand but Al Ajamy due to its milder flavor and good buzz.
